OPULENT DESIRES NAPOLEON PERDIS

This was my first experience as a styling assistant for Patrick Zackiewicz. The Napoleon Perdis project was a festive makeup collection campaign, making it a unique approach to styling. The focus was on highlighting the makeup products rather than clothing pieces, meaning garments were chosen to compliment the makeup looks.

During this role, my responsibilities included preparing garments and dressing models for shoot. I utilised steaming skills to ensure items were in meticulous condition and gave final look overs when dressing models. It was important to adapt a styling technique that prioritised the makeup over clothes, and I made sure to make sure items were not distracting from the final photography when on the models. I also was responsible for packing up and down after shoots.

This campaign helped me gain insight into the different sectors of styling, and the importance of being able to coordinate garments to contribute to an overall look. Managing my time efficiently between different product shoots allowed me to contribute to a successful campaign by ensuring each look was in a seamless condition.
